Power, water cut off at major Durban licensing centres
Water and electricity supply have been cut off at several major licensing and testing centres in the Durban region, despite the KZN Transport Department saying it has settled its municipal service bills.
In a statement, the department’s MEC Siboniso Duma said he had been informed that the disconnections were linked to property rates, rather than unpaid water or electricity accounts.
